Why I went into Estate Agency

I have an inherent interest in the property industry, including property values and the dynamics of buying and selling homes, coupled with a love for connecting with people from clients to legal professionals, my genuine desire lies in assisting individuals and families in achieving homeownership dreams while navigating the complexities of the property process.

Coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit, I am driven by the opportunity to build a successful local business within the property sector. My property fascination stems from my experience of judging market trends, encompassing economic factors, inflation, politics, and local influences. My previous experience is varied, and I dare say unique to the path of estate agency, I studied a BSc in Human Biology, worked in the antiques industry, and further experience in my tenure as director of a letting and property investment company, all experience I aim to utilise to secure the best outcomes for my clients. I take pride in my problem-solving aptitude, leveraging my ability to think on my feet and draw upon extensive experience and contacts to surmount challenges encountered along our property journey.

 Guiding clients through significant life events, whether purchasing a first home, or selling a property, brings me immense satisfaction, while my affinity for marketing and sales strategies aids in effectively promoting properties and attracting potential buyers or tenants. Committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations, I strive to build a positive reputation as a trusted and reliable estate agent within my community, where I have resided for most of my life. Ultimately, my personal fulfilment derives from playing a pivotal role in helping individuals and families realise their housing goals and dreams, underpinned by a profound passion for the industry and unwavering dedication to delivering excellent service to my clients.

To speak plainly, I get it, I don’t particularly like estate agents, and I am one for my sins!

My whole reason and purpose for setting this up by myself is to change what is expected of an estate agent. I want truly personalised service and bespoke marketing right for each individual circumstance and I hope to add little bit of personality into the process for good measure.

I have always been a details person, interested in legal aspects of property transactions. I want to make your property stand out; and to make sure you are in the marketplace not just sat on the marketplace for unnecessarily long.

As a director run company, I will be with you from start to finish and even beyond, no other agent will work harder, or with more determination than I will. I’ll showcase your property with the best marketing, personally handle each enquiry and be with you every step of the way, to navigate and ease the burden of what can be an unpredictable few months

I take great pride in being thoroughly local having lived in the area almost since I was born, only briefly moving away to university to study a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. I can apply my local knowledge to ensure we attract the right people for your property, we know the area well as we shop, work, and socialise here.

 I have experience in sales and lettings as a director of a property company. Previous experience in the antiques world means I am very comfortable with the art of negotiation and previous work in administrative area management has prepared me well for judging local market trends, property values, and economic indicators that can impact the real estate market.

Dealing with lower amounts of live properties means you get more of my attention, and we form a real good team together to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Jeffersons can do everything a high street agent can do, and more than an online agent can do but the difference is, at every stage of their transaction, I want to make sure each client is looked after, and the process is as enjoyable as possible. No two properties nor circumstances are the same. I will tailor each strategy to you and your requirements.
